Dale and Carol were raised in Colorado where they met and married in 1960. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. For 16 years the Jacksons served as foreign missionaries in Japan. They have also served as pastors in Wyoming and Colorado. Dale and Carol transitioned to Utah in 2006. They enjoy fishing, hunting, traveling and most importantly spending time with their family. Dale and Carol are enjoying their retirement with travel and working on their home.
The Jacksons bring more than a combined 50 year ministerial and missions expertise to the staff. They currently serve as our Connection Group pastors as well as Counseling Ministries counselors for RCC.
Dale was born and raised in Colorado the son of an Assembly of God Minister. Upon graduating from High School he joined the Navy and served 4 years. Within a year of being released from the Navy he married Carol Clark a childhood friend. He received his first ministerial credentials in 1964 while serving as associate pastor with his father.
His first church as senior pastor was Douglas, Wyoming, after which he pastored in Buffalo, Wyoming. He is the father of two boys, Dean and Keith. When the boys were 5 and 7 the family moved to Japan to begin 16 and one half years of ministry as foreign missionaries. Because of physical problems, he returned to the United States and accepted the pastorate of a church in Riverton, Wyoming. He retired from active ministry 3 1/2 years ago and moved with his wife Carol to Mapleton, Utah. They are happy to have joined the RCC staff in 2006.
Carol was born and raised in Denver, Co. She worked several years for Prudential Ins. Company. Carol then married Dale and we went into the ministry together. Carol served as pastor's wife in 2 churches before they went to Japan as missionaries. While in Japan she home schooled their 2 sons, Dean & Keith. After returning to the US, they pastored in Wyoming for 20 years together. Dale and Carol have done marriage counseling for many years. Since retiring and moving to Utah, she oversees the RCC Connection Groups. She also does pastoral care including hospital and private visits.
