New job...feeling my way...

You know when you get a new job how uncomfortable it is? You have to feel your way around with your co-workers and try to get the feel for what you are doing...where your purview is and where it stops? Trying to do the work you think you were hired for without stepping on anybody else's toes along the way? Well, that's me now! I was taken on with ACS to be what they call an SME or Subject Matter Expert with my expertise in Novell's Access Manager product. I have great plans and huge ambitions with where I want ACS to go with it but in the meantime I'm expected to keep up my efforts for the Novell ITO (Information Technology Outsourcing) and do my new job functions. Ow! That's becoming difficult and I see a possible storm brewing as the Novell ITO wants me here and my work as an SME takes me further afield. Well, I'm sure something will work out of it!
