Ethnic Food

Today, my 8-year-old had a picnic at school because of a book they read. The book was about a young girl who brought her Korean grandmother to school and was afraid her friends wouldn't like the food she brought because it was different for them. The kids at today's picnic were encouraged to bring ethnic food if they eat it at home but it had to be store bought so only one person brought a food...otherwise they ate popsicles, crackers and cookies. So that motivated me and I went to my friend's web site, russcooks.com to get his recipe for Indian naan since I figured we could cook that up rather quickly. Sure enough, within 20 minutes or so we were chowing down on a pretty good imitation of naan! And it was different enough that all the kids thought it was a little weird but really good.
