Tomorrow I am to be at the hospital at 0730 to turn into a cyborg. They will be installing a computer and many many leads into my back to try and interrupt my pain signals by sending electrical impulses instead. If this works, I'll feel a tingle rather than the ongoing pain I've experienced...and I get to be a cyborg!

My wife Chris and I were married in 1990 and waited a while to have our first child. Matt joined us at the end of 1997, Chiana came along in 2000 and Daniel completed our clan in 2002. Our crew lives in a small town in rural Utah on a little more than 5 acres. We are an active farm raising our own meat, fruit and vegetables. I am a senior systems architect at Novell working with our identity management products, I am also head farmer at Bullhead Ranch (our farm) and I serve as Point Pastor for RCC @ Thanksgiving Point. My wife spent 8 years as an officer for Adult Probation and Parole in region IV (Utah County) before she decided to make the switch to stay-at-home mom. Her job has only gotten harder since that move!
