I serve in a couple of positions here at Rock Canyon Church. In one I am the Point Pastor which means I help guide the congregation through a Sunday Worship Experience trying to help people to understand and grow closer to God. In my other position I'm one of the nerds that keep the nerd stuff going. That role has been taking a lot of my effort recently and its frustrating. I know there are things I need to do with regard to my duties as a pastor in the church and there are a ton of things to do as a nerd in the church. I find myself donig a lot of the nerd stuff because it is easier and I understand how to do it better than being the pastor. After praying about it and talking to Pastor Dean I realize that seeing how God called me to help pastor the church I need to delegate some of the nerd stuff and get back to the important work of serving others with my time. I've been trying to do that, but there are still a ton of nerd things to do.
One of those nerd things was Blogger.com (this service we use for our blogs) was unable to connect to rockcanyon.org and update the blogs and archive the correct ones and get it all going correctly. It seems that our hosting company has fixed the problem and we're working again. That means I can blog again and get the video podcast wired up to iTunes. You can find them here http://www.rockcanyon.org/blogs/vodcast or at iTunes. I'm thinking about using Google Video to embed the videos directly on the vodcast blog as well. Do you like that idea or do you prefer iTunes or clicking on them or.....?

I like the iTunes hook-up the best, because it's automatic. The link for the 9/28 service is not a good download. It can't open.
