Holed two pistons

That was the problem with the Jeep and explains the sudden loss of power. Not just one but two of the pistons are cracked along the top. Both of them are side-by-side in the motor and it's obvious there was a problem just looking at the head and the head gasket. There was obviously something leaking between those two and it has cooked onto the head. The one is really bad, but both of them probably pressurized the oil of the beast and were bad all around. I'm hoping because everything else appears to be in good shape on the initial look around that I'll be able to just replace the two offending pistons, put new bearings on those two and put the engine back together. The option exists to rebuild the whole thing but I'm hoping to not have to put that much effort into it. So today is off to the forklift company (the only place with parts for that motor) and get a couple of pistons with rings and bearings so I can reassemble this motor today and hopefully get running and back on the road shortly!
