He works!

I always knew that one day my child would be old enough to help out. To be truthful, they all are helpful to the best of their ability, but for some reason in my mind mowing the lawn is an achievement. And today it has been achieved. My daughter pulled the flags and the boy...the boy mowed the lawn! Very exciting day for me, the mowing of the lawn. The passing of the baton for some years. I'm sure by the time it comes back to me to mow the lawn regularly, we'll be paying some neighborhood kids to do it, but for the next 14 years or so, I have my own kids to do it!
